The Auto show comes to Atlanta!!!!

The Atlanta Auto Show rolls into the Georgia World Congress Center Mar. 23-27.

Over 500 new cars and trucks will be on display inside the "C" building of the Georgia World Congress Center.

The Atlanta Auto Show offers those in the market for a new vehicle an opportunity to compare hundreds of models in one place. There is no selling at the auto show, so it also offers a no-pressure environment to investigate.

For those not currently in the market for a new vehicle, it offers a chance to check out the latest in the automotive industry. That includes both concept cars and pre-production vehicles.

Manufacturers bring concept cars to auto shows to gauge public reaction to them.

Pre-production vehicles are cars that will soon make it into dealer showrooms. For this year, the pre-production vehicles at the Atlanta Auto Show are the host of 2012 models.

The show will include a number of specialty vehicles. Atlanta-based Wheego will bring an all-electric car to the show. Nissan will bring their all-electric vehicle, too, the Nissan Leaf. Chevy's "Strength and Honor Camaro" will also be on display as well as a GMC Sierra concept truck.
More than 30 manufacturers are bringing cars to the show including the big names in the auto industry like Chevy, Ford and Toyota. Others participating manufacturers include Lamborghini, Lotus, Porsche and Aston Martin.
ickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Kids ages 5 and under get in free.

Visitors will find plenty of entertainment options in addition to the vehicles at the Atlanta Auto Show, too. Iron Man and SpongeBob SquarePants will both make appearances. GM, Kia and Toyota will all host ride and drive events, too.

The Metro Atlanta Automobile Dealer's Association is the organization behind the Auto Show.
