Vonage...grrr, ugh...

Time for a little vent...

I can truly appreciate a good service provider that also provides good customer service. I mean, not even great, but good customer service works.

Yesterday, I had to call Vonage (the internet-based phone company) because I JUST realized that they have been erroneously billing me for about a year for service on an old number that I no longer even have.

Anyhow, so as to not have me revisit this situation too intensely, it will suffice to say that Vonage representatives need an express lesson in listening and following through and general customer service skills.

I think I can honestly say that consumers (myself included) like to feel comfortable in knowing that people are capable and sufficiently trained to address customer concerns in a professional and organized manner.

To make a long story short, I am NOT a fan of Vonage. Poor tech support and horrible customer service skills make this company a zero in my book.

***deep breaths***, ok, I feel better now.

Rest assured that I know the value of good customer service, it's instilled in me like the McDonald's "2allbeefpattiesspecialsaucelettucecheesepicklesonionsonasesameseedbun" commercial jingle.
